Office Assistant – PT/FT (Seattle)

We are a mid-sized house cleaning company searching for an Administrative Assistant. This position will assist with office functions and support our cleaners, including but not limited to dispatching and scheduling. Interfacing with our clients, fulfilling requests, providing estimates, confirming scheduling, and managing the database entry are a large portion of the day.

Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 1 year of office experience
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

  • Quick Books knowledge
  • College experience

Duties include:

  • Answering phones on multi-line system
  • Filing, signing up new clients and imputing data into computers
  • Communication skills and courteous phone manners are a must as we talk to clients all day
  • Office inventory
  • Light office upkeep (wiping down the kitchen at the end of the day, etc)
  • Keeping vendor bonds & insurance updated
  • Sending and receiving confirmations
  • Account management
  • Help with the major project of going digital

Daily life:

  • Schedule: M, T, W, T - 9:00 to 5:00 (winter hours are 9-4) (schedule is flexible for the right person)
  • Open concept office
